Brian Phelan, Chief Executive Officer
Brian Phelan is the Chief Executive Officer at Imaging on Call. He is responsible for developing and implementing strategic initiatives as well as the overall growth and charter of the company. Before joining IOC, Brian managed operations for Amicas where he covered the western half of the U.S. for their radiology business unit.
Prior to Amicas, Brian worked at GE Healthcare as a Project Engineer within the GEMS-IT division focusing mainly on clinical workflow, PACS, RIS and Voice Recognition systems. At GE he also worked on the business integration team during the acquisitions of new technology products. Brian is a graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point and was a Captain in the U.S. Army.
Ann Farina, Practice Manager
Ann is the Business Manager at Imaging On Call and is responsible for physician hiring and credentialing, quality assurance, risk management, ensuring compliance with Joint Commission standards and client billing.
Ann has been with IOC since its first days of operation in 2002 and has been deeply involved in all areas of the business. Prior to IOC, Ann managed a local Ob/Gyn office for eleven years.
Howard Reis, Director of Business Development
Howard is the Director of Business Development and is responsible for identifying new business opportunities through direct sales and channel partners. He had his first taste of telemedicine while working for NYNEX Science and Technology when he assisted four of the leading Boston, Mass. teaching hospitals in the early 1990's. He was subsequently named President of TelAssist Corp., a home telemedicine company.
Howard also has many years of experience working in the telecommunications industry, where he had extensive contact with many different hospital clients. He serves on the Board of Advisors for the Hudson Valley Center for Innovation in Lake Katrine, NY and is also a long standing member of the American Telemedicine Association. Howard is a graduate of New York University's Leonard N. Stern School of Business with an MBA in Finance.
David Cohen, MD, Chief Radiologist
Dr. Cohen received his medical degree from Thomas Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia, PA. He then completed six years of post graduate work at the University of Miami - Jackson Memorial Hospital for his radiology residency and Fellowship training. He is Board Certified in Diagnostic Radiology, Nuclear Medicine, and Nuclear Cardiology and has also earned CAQ designation for Interventional Radiology.
Dr. Cohen has a special interest in Musculoskeletal Radiology and has completed the visiting Fellowship program in Musculoskeletal MRI at Duke University. He is a former Assistant Professor of Radiology at Yale affiliated Bridgeport Hospital in Connecticut and served as Chief of Interventional Radiology and Nuclear Medicine at Cape Canaveral Hospital in Florida.
Dr. Cohen joined Imaging On Call in 2002 and is currently serving as Chief Radiologist and Quality Assurance Officer. He is a member of the American College of Radiology, Radiologic Society of North America, American Roentgen Ray Society, and American Society of Emergency Radiology.
